A Blog Series – Unmasking the Narcissist: An Autistic Journey Through Abuse and Awakening

*** NOTE:
This is a series I’ll be sharing over time, not rushed, but unraveled with care. Each part will have space to breathe — just like healing does.

Introduction: Unmasking the Narcissist — A Journey Begins

This isn’t just another blog series about narcissistic abuse. This is my story — a raw, ongoing, and often painful journey as an autistic woman navigating spiritual, familial, romantic, and workplace narcissistic abuse. It’s about what it means to be gaslit when your brain is wired to trust, to take people at face value, to analyze everything deeply, and to miss nothing — even when people pretend you’re imagining things.

For years, I walked blindly into traps laid by narcissists. I didn’t know the names of their tactics back then — the gaslighting, triangulation, flying monkeys, and silent treatments. I only knew the confusion, the self-doubt, and the emotional chaos they left behind. I was conditioned to be loyal, silent, and forgiving. And they counted on that.

But this series is not about staying silent anymore.

“Unmasking the Narcissist” will take you through real stories — from my past to my present — where I began seeing the patterns, calling them what they are, and reclaiming my voice. You’ll hear about the pastors, friends, and coworkers who wore masks of light while operating in darkness. You’ll witness the slow but steady shift from victim to observer. From survival to awakening.

In one of the posts, I’ll share how a seemingly innocent comment about a locked door became another covert attempt to destabilize me at work. On the surface? A misunderstanding. Beneath? A calculated micro-attack rooted in narcissistic control — all while I’m navigating my role, unsupported, with multiple degrees and no real training.

Expect to feel uncomfortable. Expect to see yourself or someone you love in these stories. Expect to hear the voice of an autistic woman who now sees the game — and chooses not to play.

So if you’ve ever questioned your reality… If you’ve ever been accused of being “too sensitive”… If you’ve ever had to rebuild your sense of truth after someone twisted it…

This series is for you.

Let’s unmask them. One story at a time.
